Sada Sakamoto hails to Oregon from Osaka, Japan - a city famous for its delicious cuisine. It was in Osaka that Sada attended cooking school and apprenticed as a young sushi chef at one of the city's top sushi bars. After making sushi in Osaka for nine years, Sada came to the U.S. to share his love of Japanese cuisine with those living outside of Japan. Sada has been preparing sushi for over 30 years and yet, staying true to his humble Japanese roots says: "I'm still practicing making sushi..."
